"Wave Watching" 2018 24x48 inch oil on canvas.
Wave watching is an enjoyed activity here in Campbell River BC! when the wind pickes up the large foamy waves roll and crash into the shore line. I picked a image of the waves crashing and moving the driftwood caught up on the beach.
"Grandmas House" 2019 14x21 cm acrylic on paper.
This is a study of my grandmother's home that she built on a ten achre property she purchased in her younger years. The view is of the side of the house with her green house. I painted it in the summer when everything was in bloom.
"Creek Side" 2019 9x12 inches acrylic on canavs panel
My home Vancouver Island BC is full of creeks and rivers. In this peice the light "dances" as the sun rays shine through the trees leaves on a breezy summer day.
"Twin Trees" 2018 8x10 inch acrylic on canvas panel
"Twin Trees" is a study from a larger peice I did back in 2005! I wanted to see what it would look like with more colour. It's funny where that little experement was leading.
"Light The The Storm" 2019 16x20 inch oil on cradled wood panel
I love the light of a stormy day on the water. When the golden sun breaks through the deep blue and grey clouds it casts this magestic atmosphere into the seascape.
